Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m writing this post today because my style has changed a bit and has become more and more inspired by menswear and there’s definitely a reason for that. Let me give you a little bit of a background story. About one year ago from today, I was promoted from being a sale’s person in the BP & Topshop departments of the Nordstrom in the Cincinnati. I loved working with the trend setters and influencer type age in the city because they were willing to be the most creative and have the most fun when it came to styling.

I know it’s only June, so technically summer hasn’t even started, but I am here to proudly proclaim that I have found the perfect summer dress. I am not naturally a dress person, but when it comes to summer, there isn’t anything as easy and comfortable as a nice summer dress.

Having a dress you grab, throw on, feel comfortable, and look stylish all summer long is an absolute must-have this season. This will be my go-to dress whether I’m going to a barbecue, concert, blogger event, or even a nice dinner downtown.

Spring Street Style Fashion Trends

Hey guys, yes it has been awhile. I always promised myself I would never be one of those people that has to apologize for not posting on a certain platform in awhile. Unfortunately, here I am. Guilty as charged.

Out of all platforms, I can’t believe it had to be my website. My excuse is that I felt like I just transferred all of my blog content onto my YouTube channel. Today I will be highlighting my top 3 street style fashion trends from this Spring! There are many new up and coming trends as well as trends that have been carried over from this past year. Today I will highlighting the trends that I have fully taken on and embraced. Meaning specifically the ones I have been wearing the most this season.

The Smocked Top

Anyway, lets just jump right on into it! One of my absolute favorite trends seems to be the smocked top (what I call the scrunchie top.) I am not sure what else to call it or how else to describe it, but you know the shirts that scrunch up and then have super power stretch to them. They have come straight out of a time warp from the 80’s.

I have this shirt pictured here in both yellow and white. They were $9.90 each from Forever21. You can’t tell here, but they are both cropped. I just thought they would be a super easy and somewhat trendy top to add to a cute pair of jeans for a go-to summer outfit. Yellow is a color I haven’t worn for literally 5+ years, but I was inspired to try it out and now I am totally obsessed.

Over the Knee Winter Fashion

This winter fashion look is something else and I’m all about it. Graphic tee, boldly printed shorts, leather jacket and over the knee boots isn’t your normal scarf and sweater go to.

Just because the temperature is dropping doesn’t mean that you have to lack all sense of creativity and style in order to stay warm and winter appropriate.
