I am not a huge accessory person and I typically am not a fan of belts. I always thought a belt would take away from the outfit rather than add to it. I would argue against it being functional as well, because if you need a belt then your pants don’t fit right.
However, there is one belt that is an exception. The accessory trend I’m super into is this western style leather belt. I got this real leather belt from Asos for only $26.
The first day I got to Chicago, I decided to keep it casual and sporty. We had a full day planned of exploring boutiques and walking around Lincoln Park. The weather wasn’t too humid or hot which gave me a great opportunity to bring out the bomber jacket.

Traveling is a topic that can easily get both negative and positive publicity. If you are traveling nonstop (usually for work) it is often dreadful and exhausting, if you are lucky enough to travel for vacation it’s exciting and adventurous.
Personally, traveling is definitely something I would love to do more of. It never seems like there is a “right” time to do it. My schedule is either too busy, finances too constricted, or maybe I am just too unsure of where I would want to go.
Traveling is a new goal I have given myself and to overcome these never ending obstacles or excuses not to travel I have come up with a couple strategies to overcome my typical excuses.
Since I graduated school this past spring, this is my first fall where I won’t be “back to school” shopping! Which is actually so crazy to think about (even though my back to school shopping always consisted of buying another uniform).
I mean back to school shopping is essentially updating your call wardrobe anyway, which is my favorite season to prep for! I can’t even tell you how excited I was to write this blog post.
