We were lucking enough to have the temperatures back at 70 degrees this weekend here in Ohio! The most challenging part of dressing for the appropriate season is doing so even when the temperature is doing otherwise. Normally in the fall if I were to wear a skirt, I would wear tights or knee high socks and boots, but since the weather permitted I was able to get away without either. This Free People cropped sweater gave the outfit a nice touch of fall without adding too much warmth.

Floral Swing Tunic

If you haven’t noticed yet, I tend to wear a lot of oversized tops. I love this swing tunic because I have been able to wear it as both a dress (with shorts underneath) and a shirt! This tunic was so popular that Free People has carried it for multiple seasons with various prints. They even have a sleeveless version. This shirt looks great on almost everyone! It has been worn multiple times by all six of my roommates.

Perfectly Oversized

If you have not noticed yet, I am a HUGE fan of oversized clothing. It really depends on the person and their body type, but for me it works. This top is one of my favorite purchases this season. It is oversized, but still has a classy look to it with the button up detail and nice fabric. Most of my oversized shirts are cotton tshirts, but this one is unique. The huge pockets are my favorite aspect.

Sweater Weather

It is just about the appropriate time of year for sweater weather! Although I may be jumping the gun a little bit, I wanted to get you all my favorite Fall 2015 trend in advance. My favorite trend this year has to be the oversized sleeveless turtleneck. Last year it was the oversized scarf with a long sleeve shirt, and this year I guess it was decided to just make it all one piece. The more fabric the better, is my motto for turtlenecks as long as there are no sleeves. I would highly encourage you to invest in one of these because I see them being trendy for awhile. Free people has a pricier turtleneck, but I do think it is worth the investment. After all, think about how much material you are paying for. I paired this sweater with some black ankle pants from ZARA, but distressed black pants and especially leather leggings or pants would also look great! There is something I love about mixing contrasting fabrics such as knit and leather.
